A wheel stop defines the tyre stopping point in covered and open car parks. Its position accounts for the clearance to walls, columns, kerbs and footways after the wheel stops. Length, width, height, material and fixing arrangement are assessed together in the selected model datasheet. Wheel stops are also used at charging points and facility entrances according to the layout plan.

- Final check: Check base seating and fixings; confirm that vehicle and pedestrian clearances meet the layout plan.

- Body and fixings: Check for cracks, permanent deformation and looseness; set maintenance intervals from site conditions and product instructions.
- Sheeting surfaces: Where fitted, record film detachment or damage; clean according to the actual body and film manufacturer instructions.

Is the same fixing used in concrete and asphalt?
